Children at Play Photography's fundamental philosophy is simple. Children take the best photos when they are relaxed. For Early years, we utilise playtime to capture images of children playing and having fun - whether thats inside a classroom or in the middle of the playground. No matter what, we create beautiful portraits for your parents to buy and wonderful shots to promote you on websites and social media.
For our Primary school children, we are able to introduce a bit more structure and setup to the photos where needed, and we actually find at this age the children's curiosity gets the better of them and they engage with the camera more.
Because of our candid style and relaxed approach, we find that our shoots are welcoming to most children, including those who can be a bit shy or awkward in front of the camera. This has proven invaluable when working with children with additional needs, where our biggest virtue is patience. If a child needs a 20 minute solo session, or has to go at the beginning of the day to be the least disruptive to their routine then we will accomodate however we can.
